Ting Ho is leading the 111 players who made it through Day 1b of WPT Rolling Thunder yesterday with 181,300. There were a total of 210 players in the field. The combined total field is 376 and counting.

Volpe leads for Day 3 of WPT Bay 101

American pro Paul Volpe is leading the last 44 players in the WPT Bay 101 Main Event. Volpe was pretty short-stacked on the bubble but took advantage of bubble play and post-bubble action to end the day with 1,749,000. His nearest rival is Dan O’Brien, who bagged up 1,339,000.

Graner crowns “exceptional” day at WPT Bay 101, leads for Day 2

American pro Stephen Graner spent the whole of Day 1b of the $7,500 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Main Event in the middle of the feature table – and remains in the spotlight as he now goes through to Day 2 with a commanding chip lead.

Sergio Castelluccio, one of Italy’s top live tournament players, has won the record-breaking WPT National Brussels for €105,000. There were 489 entries in the £1,100 Main Event, a record for the Brussels stop, generating a €521,760 prize pool with 55 players getting a share.

Darren Elias wins third WPT title at Fallsview

American pro Darren Elias won his third WPT trophy last night – and a C$449,484 first prize – after taking down the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic in Canada. Elias, who beat a record-breaking 489 entry field, is now off to LA Poker Classic for Main Event Day 1

WPT LA Poker Classic Main Event starts tomorrow

A host of big names have headed to LA this week to compete in the WPT LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino. The prestigious $10K buy-in Main Event starts tomorrow (through to March 2) and is set to attract the biggest players in the world.
