"MainEventTravel.com" means Main Event Travel.Com Limited, UK registered number 07820585 of Suite 1, 3rd Floor, 11-12 St. James's Square, London SW1Y 4LB. MainEventTravel.com acts as booking agent for the hotels and other service providers advertised on the website MainEventTravel.com (the "Site"), and trades with ATOL 7595 and the IATA/TIDS code 96085286.
References to "accommodation providers" means the owner/providers of the hotels and other accommodation of any description featured on this website and "accommodation" means the accommodation including all facilities and services advertised on our website that we have agreed to arrange in connection with your confirmed booking.
Affiliates are third parties who, in agreement with MainEventTravel.com distribute MainEventTravel.com hotel rooms and other services and products to their customers.
In some countries, there is a local tax known as "visitors' tax", “city tax” "tourist tax" (or similar) and other fees including (but not limited to) resort fees or service charges, which shall be paid directly by the end consumer at the establishment and/or at the airport.. MainEventTravel.com shall use reasonable endeavours to provide, at the time of booking, an estimation of the applicable fees and/or local tax(es) attributable to each individual booking and payable at the time of booking and/or locally on arrival (“Local Tax/Fee Estimation”), however please note that MainEventTravel.com does not warrant that the Local Tax/Fee Estimations shall be accurate and the CLIENT acknowledges and agrees that the Local Tax/Fee Estimations are provided as estimates only. The CLIENT further acknowledges that Local Taxes and Fee Estimations may change from time to time. As a result, MainEventTravel.com cannot be held liable for any loss, costs or damages incurred as a result of the provision of such Local Taxes/Fee Estimations. Confirmation of and the accuracy of the Local Taxes/or Fee Estimations is ultimately the responsibility of the MainEventTravel.com.
Important Information & Consumer Protection
MainEventTravel.com normally acts as a booking agent only in respect of all bookings we make on your behalf. We undertake no responsibility for and are not liable for the misrepresentations, breaches of contract, breaches of statutory duty or negligence of any of the accommodation providers and other suppliers of services who sell their products and services through us. This means that in the event of you suffering personal injury, illness or death as a result of any act or omission of an accommodation provider or other supplier of services (or their employees or agents) or you having any complaint about the quality of the services provided or having any other complaint at all, your sole right of redress will be against the independent third party who provided such service and MainEventTravel.com will be under no liability at all.
By proceeding to book accommodation only services through the Site, you accept that you will be entering into a contract with the accommodation provider on their standard terms and conditions. If they are provided, we will endeavour (but undertake no liability to do so) to make copies of the accommodation provider's terms and conditions available to you.
Customers booking more than one product that contains accommodation and an additional component are offered financial protection under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (PTR). Where a booking is offered as a single price with multiple components this forms a 'package holiday' and where components are priced separately this forms a 'linked travel arrangement. Both of these offer financial protection** under PTR regulations and a Package Holiday offers additional legal* protection and bookings that contain a flight component offer ATOL protection ATOL protects you when you book a holiday with a UK travel company. It ensures that you don't lose the money you paid out or become stranded abroad in the event of financial failure of your travel company. If an ATOL protected travel company that you have bookd with ceases trading, the scheme protects customers who have booked holidays with the firm. In addition to ATOL protection, MET also provide cover that protects against Supplier Failure, with a small charge that is added to all bookings involving a flight component, full details of which are shown at the time of booking. This is to cover you in the event that an airline suffers an insolvency event prior to your departure***.
*Legal protection means your travel company is responsible for making sure that you get the holiday you paid for. If something isn’t provided or isn’t as expected, and your travel company or its suppliers is at fault, they will need to sort this out for you – either resolving the issue, offering an alternative or providing a full or partial refund. In some instances, you may be able to claim compensation.
**Financial protection means that if the travel company you have booked with goes out of business, you will receive a refund if you are yet to travel or be brought home if you are already on holiday and your package includes return transport.
***Supplier Failure Cover is underwritten by MET and customer funds are held in a seperate fund to cover the costs of airline failure, in order to quickly re-book your travel plans in the event of an airline insolvency event
You understand that we may not have conducted any quality or other checks on the accommodation providers and we make no representations about the suitability of the accommodation and services offered for sale through the Site. The inclusion or offering for sale of any accommodation and services by MainEventTravel.com does not constitute an express or implied endorsement or recommendation by MainEventTravel.com of such accommodation or services. We do not guarantee the accuracy of and disclaim liability for any inaccuracies relating to the accommodation and services offered for sale through us.
Where you, or any of the people that you are booking on behalf of, are in breach of any of the provisions of these Terms or contravention of any laws or rights of a third party, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation in any way and recover from you any costs incurred as a result of your behaviour.
COVID19 & Other Restrictions
Customers are strongly advised to check all restrictions on entry to a country that they plan to travel to as these vary from country to country and can change at very short notice. MET can, in some circumstances, cancel certain products without charge based on Government issues travel warnings, but this is NOT guaranteed and must be requested prior to travel. MET cannot indemnify customers against denied boarding or refusal of immigration and strongly recommend that all customers verify their own status before booking and before travelling.
Site content, documentation and booking information.
MainEventTravel.com may modify the content of the Site and/or Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified content and/or Terms on the Site, and your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified content and/or Terms.
MainEventTravel.com cannot be held responsible for the cancellation or curtailment of an event by the organisers. We STRONGLY recommend that our customers seek the correct insurance that covers event cancellation if that is the primary reason for travel.
Any information placed on the site with regards accommodation or other services does not constitute any advice or recommendation given by MainEventTravel.com and MainEventTravel.com shall not be held liable for inaccuracies or errors in the accommodation or services content or any of its elements. These independent businesses provide the services per their terms and conditions which may limit or exclude their liability to you. MainEventTravel.com and its affiliates are not liable for any acts, omissions, breaches or negligence of any such independent businesses or any damages or expenses resulting from those as mentioned earlier. MainEventTravel.com and its affiliates are not liable for any refunds in the event of overbooking or force majeure or any other cause beyond their control.
As MainEventTravel.com acts only as a booking agent, we will have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation except where those errors were made by MainEventTravel.com.
How to book accommodation or other services
Bookings may be made by:
(a) Dialling the MainEventTravel.com telephone number and quoting the applicable reference details listed on the Site (which may include an additional service charge);
(b) Following the online booking procedure where applicable.
To confirm a booking, you must be authorised to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking, you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking.
MainEventTravel.com will confirm your booking and issue you with an email confirmation. MainEventTravel.com will only deduct funds from your payment card when authorised to do so by you. Payment made in a currency other than that of your payment card may incur Foreign Exchange Fees that are set by your card provider. MET assume no responsibility for charges made by your card provider.
If you call MainEventTravel.com by telephone or are called by MainEventTravel.com regarding your booking, calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes. In the event of a dispute regarding a booking, MainEventTravel.com reserves the right to review any call information.
Please note that all extra's consumed on site such as Food, Drink, Entertainment and Transport must be paid for by you, and your booking with MainEventTravel.com only includes the package set out in your confirmation email and invoice. We accept no liability for any charges you consume on site, or any extras outside of your package.
If you cancel, amend or change a booking
You may modify or cancel your booking at any time before your arrival date by telephoning or emailing the MainEventTravel.com offices. Fees (indicated below) may apply when modifying or cancelling your booking.
If you amend your booking, there may be a service charge or amendment fee levied by the accommodation or other service providers.
If you cancel your booking, fees and charges may apply. These will vary from, loss of the first night of the booking to total loss of the whole cost of the booking, depending on the type of room and booking that is made.
Refunds will not be paid until they have been received by Main Event Travel.com from the relevant airline, hotel or other suppliers. A delay of 8-10 weeks may be incurred in some cases (e.g. lost tickets), but we endeavour to pay all refunded money due within 10 working days. Not all Taxes are refundable. Some airlines do not refund their fuel surcharge (this is usually included in the tax). Please contact us for an exact amount that will be refunded.
All credit card charges are non-refundable.
All SAFI (Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance) charges are non-refundable.
All Protection & Bonding Levy charges are non-refundable.
All Booking Fees are non-refundable.
The above non-refundable charges are applicable in all circumstances.
We reserve the rights to charge an administration fee (currently £25) when administrating a booking in any circumstances.
In any event, if you fail to cancel or amend your booking by the provider's cancellation or amendment policy, you will be charged a cancellation or amendment fee by the accommodation or other service providers.
If for whatsoever reason, you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your booking confirmation email, without sufficient prior warning to MainEventTravel.com ("a no-show"), this shall be considered a cancellation and no refund will be issued. In the case of a no-show, the hotel may elect to cancel the remainder of the booking, without refund.
Age and responsibility
You warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have the legal capacity to use the Site and to create a legally binding contract.
You warrant that all personal information submitted during accommodation booking is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
You as a result of this authorise MainEventTravel.com to process all Personal Information about you and the persons named on the booking that has been obtained in connection with your booking. Personal information shall be deemed to include, but not be limited to any telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, addresses of residences, signatures, ID or passport copies, or any other information belonging to you or your group.
MainEventTravel.com are obliged to inform you, on request, the full extent of any personal data held by us. MainEventTravel.com may, from time to time, us this data to market directly to you. This data is held on our servers and not passed to, or used by any other party.
You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance before arriving at your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including returning your own country in the event of an accident or illness if the booking is outside your home country.
Passports, Visas & Travel Restrictions
Carrying of Passports are required for most travel outside your home country and is the responsibility of each individual traveller. All passengers entering the USA (and some other countries) now require an MRP (Machine Readable Passport).
Visa requirements for different countries vary depending on the country of issue of your passport. MainEventTravel.com strongly recommend that you check any Visa requirements before travelling.
Where a Visa is required, MET can provide a letter of support at no cost. However, in the event of later customer cancellation, we are obliged to advise the relevant Visa authorities. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to charge an admin fee of $100 for issuing such a letter.
MainEventTravel.com will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers and/or MainEventTravel.com to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non-performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond MainEventTravel.com control.
Complaints or issues with your accommodation
In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problems with your accommodation, please inform the accommodation reception staff or management immediately, to enable them to take appropriate action.
Legislation and Courts of Jurisdiction
This agreement will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be dealt with by the English courts. If however, you booked your holiday in Scotland or Northern Ireland any disputes may be dealt with in the local courts in Scotland or Northern Ireland and will be subject to the law of those countries.

1 Which tournaments can I register for?
You can register for any tournaments where you see the ‘Buy in now’ icon.
2 How does it work?

3 Why should I use the online registration system?
Our system can save you time on arrival; it can save you from having to carry large amounts of cash; it can also save you from currency conversion charges if buying into a tournament in a foreign country.
4 How do I select my tournament?
On each tour stop, any event which has online registrations will have the ‘Buy in now’ icon.
5 Do I have to register with MainEvent Travel.com before buying tickets?
Yes, to make any transaction, you need to register on our site. This is not only to verify your identity but also to secure the details of your transaction.
6 Do I have to pay to register on MainEventTravel.com?
No. You only pay when you buy a hotel room or tournament entry.
7 How do I update my profile or view my tickets?
Click 'Login' on the top of the homepage, then enter your email and password.
You will be able to update your profile, change the password, and view your transaction history.
8 How can I buy my tournament registrations online?
Once you have added a tournament, buy in and a hotel room to your purchase, just check out using a credit or debit card as you would with any other retail site.
9 How old do I need to be to buy tournament registrations?
In the USA, players must be 21 years old (18 years old in the State of Florida and Turning Stone Resort. Age restriction in Ontario, Canada is 19 Years of age). Other territories may vary. Valid personal identification is required upon entrance to all Casinos. We recommend a passport or valid photographic driver's licence as appropriate identification. However please check with the Casino which you are visiting before arriving at the Casino.
10 What are the payment options?
Payments must be made as a purchase using a debit or credit card. This is not a cash advance.
Registering a tournament will be a regular card transaction.
11 Can I pay in instalments?
No. All payments must be made in one transaction when buying your ticket.
12 How are my tickets delivered?
Once you have completed your transaction, your confirmation will be emailed to you. Your confirmation can be printed directly from your computer at the end of the transaction. Also, you will receive an email with a PDF file of the confirmation. If you can't print your confirmation just bring a valid ID and your confirmation details to the Casino registration desk.
13 What should I do when I arrive at the Venue?
When you arrive at the Casino, please inform the Registration Desk that you have already registered and that the money was wired to the casino by MainEventTravel.com. Please note that in-house Casino poker room rules supersede all website information.
14 How long before the tournament starts can I buy my ticket?
As soon as we have the required details from the venue, we will offer tournament registrations online. These will be available until 72 hours before the tournament, to allow time for Wire Transfers to be made.
15 Is it possible to cancel my registration?
Yes, cancellations must be made BY EMAIL at least 96 hours before the beginning of the tournament to be eligible for a refund. Once a refund is processed the full value of the tournament ticket is refunded using the same method that was used for payment. The Admin Fee charged by MainEventTravel.com is NOT eligible for a refund.
In most instances, we may be able to cancel within a shorter time frame, but please let us know ASAP.
16 How do I cancel my ticket online?
You CANNOT do this; you MUST email us directly to do so.
17 Will I be eligible for a full refund if I cancel my registrations?
You will be refunded the full price of the tournament itself. However, the online/offline convenience charge is not refundable. Approved refunds will be credited to the card used to purchase within 30 days of the cancellation request.
18 What happens if I cancel my event through illness?
Please forward notification of any illness at the earliest possible opportunity to both MainEventTravel.com, and the host Casino. This may require being supported by documentary evidence of the illness. The decision to refund the buy-in on the grounds of illness can only be taken by the host Casino. Unfortunately, MainEventTravel.com are unable to overrule any decision made by the Casino on this matter.
19 Which poker events do you offer tournament registrations to?
We can offer online registrations for events where 3rd party registration is legally permitted in the territory in which the Casino is located. In all cases, you will require having valid ID and a casino players card to enable you to play in the tournament.
20 Which charges apply when registering online for a tournament on MainEventTravel.com?
We currently charge a sliding scale of booking fees for tournament entries that are detailed earlier in this section. If you are booking a long stay hotel package, or multiple tournament entries for one particular stop at a tour or festival, please contact us directly as we may be able to offer a reduced rate.
21 I forgot my password. What should I do?
Your log-in name is your email address. If you have forgotten your password, you should click 'log-in', enter your email address and click on 'Forgot your password?' A new password will be sent to your registered email address. Once you have logged-in again, you can change your password by clicking on 'my account'.
22 Does buying my tournament registration online guarantee me a seat?
Yes, it does, although most casinos will not enter you into the tournament until you arrive at the Casino and register. This is also subject to the in-house rules of the host Casino. Please check with the Casino to ensure that you are aware of any conditions, or local rules, before arriving at the Casino. We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the tournament.
23 What happens if a seat is unavailable when I arrive at the casino for my tournament?
Occasionally some tournaments may run an alternate list and add you to this if you have not arrived before the tournament begins. We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the event starts
24 How many seats can I purchase at a time?
You can purchase one seat at a time. The credit/debit card used to purchase the buy-in must match the player's valid identification upon arrival at the Casino.
Where are my flight tickets?
Once your booking has been received, we will then ticket your flight and send you the final confirmation within 48 hours
Is further information required from me?
Once your flight has been ticketed, and confirmation has been sent to you, the airline requires you enter further information about yourself (APSIS information) on their website. To complete this, you will need the booking reference (PNR) from your final confirmation.
Can I cancel my flight?
Flights can normally be cancelled within 24 hours of booking, although there may be an Admin fee charged by the airline. After this time, it depends on the airline policy and the flight type that is booked.
I have made an error in my booking, what can I do?
Please let us know as early as possible (within 24 hours of booking) as we can normally fix any errors BEFORE ticketing and final confirmation. Once again, this can depend on airline policy.

- Reconfirmation of any onward / return journey is the passenger’s responsibility.
- Valid travel documentation such as valid passport, visa, health precautions are passenger’s responsibility.
- Timings are subject to change; please reconfirm with your airline operator before you fly.
- Any reissue / revalidation / cancellation will incur a fee.
- Any passengers under 18 years of age travelling to South Africa will be denied boarding if not carrying their original birth certificate.
- Any passengers who hold an OCI who travel to INDIA without their original OCI card will be denied boarding.
- Passengers travelling to/ or via USA/CANADA: will require an ESTA at least 72 hours before travel, even for transit purposes. Children under 18 travelling to South Africa and Botswana: All minors travelling will be required to carry certified copies Birth Certificate, and in the event, that only one parent is travelling, certified written consent from the other parent to allow the child to travel.
Carriage and other services provided by the carrier are subject to conditions of a contract, which are hereby incorporated by reference. These conditions may be obtained from the issuing carrier. The itinerary/receipt constitutes the passenger ticket for the purposes of Article 3 of the Warsaw convention, except where the carrier delivers to the passenger another document complying with the requirements of Article 3. If the passenger's journey involves an ultimate destination or stop in a country other than the country of departure the Warsaw Convention may be applicable, and the convention governs, and in most cases limits, the liability of carriers for death or personal injury and in respect of loss of or damage to baggage. If you are travelling to the USA, all qualified Visa Waiver Program travellers will be required to obtain electronic travel authorization prior to boarding an air or sea carrier to the United States.
Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) to the USA
Travellers who do not receive travel authorization prior to their departure may be denied boarding, experience delays or be denied admission into the United
States. Applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel, but no less than 72 hours prior to departure.
Travel Authorization is obtained through an online registration system known as the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). If your registration
is successful, it will be valid for multiple applications for two years or until the date on which your passport expires, whichever comes first.
