There has been a long break since last Battle of Malta Live Event. Previous live Battle of Malta was at April 2019. After that, there were two BOM-tournaments arranged on internet.
So Casino Malta faced a slight problem; are players returning to live-action, to Malta? After six days of fierce action we know the answer; Players love Malta and Battle of Malta.
Five starting days collected a totally 2,592 buy-ins, which made a fine prize pool of €1,244,160.

Today had left only nine players, who sat down at the final table. The first player to bust was Estonian Peep Kivistik, his QQ did win the race against Stan van Dijk's AK. Valter Marchi was the next player to reach the cash desk, his A6 was not good against Federico Petruzelli's QJ.
The most lively player in the final table, Karol Szyszko finished seventh. He was the man to show the biggest emotions at the final table, but he had to leave when his A4 could not beat Noam Garama's AJ. Jeremy Soreau finished sixth, his K8 lost to Giuseppe Rosa's J9.
So we're down to five players. The next player to bust was Federico Petruzelli, he flopped a straight draw against Yossef Cohen, but Cohen had a flush draw and the flush came already at the turn.
When four players were left, it was an open game, stacks were really close to each other. Now the Israeli players we first in trouble. Aggressive Noam Garama who was coolered, he made two pairs at the river to his T7, when Giuseppe Rosa already had two pairs in his A3.
Yossef Cohen was next to leave, his A5 lost to Stan van Dijk's 99.
The heads-up took a bit over one hour. Mainly Rosa was in the lead, but van Dijk played solid poker trying to grind back.
