WPT Festival of Poker at Dusk Till Dawn starts October 22
The WPT heads to the celebrated Dusk Till Dawn club on October 22 for the partypoker WPT UK Festival of Poker. The festival features three marquee events each with a £1 million guarantee. Combined with the other events on the schedule, that’s more than £3 million in prize money up for grabs. Check out MainEventTravel.com's Nottingham hotels here.

The Festival kicks off with the £550 buy-in WPT500. There are five start flights at Dusk Till Dawn and seven more at various casinos throughout the UK – plus five online tournaments from October 23-27. Players are allowed one entry per starting flight, but can play as many starting flights as they wish, taking the largest stack forward to Day 2.

As well as a share of the prize pool, the top 50 finishers will win a seat into the £2,200 Main Event which starts on November 2.. This event, which has two start flights, will also feature a £1 million guarantee, with players allowed one re-entry per day.

Last season’s partypoker WPT UK Main Event attracted a field of 450 entries with Iaron Lightbourne beating Craig McCorkell heads-up to win the title and £200,000.

Also taking place is the £1 million guarantee Devilfish Cup commemorating the life and achievements of the late Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott. The event starts October 31 with a £5,000 buy-in plus £300 donation. All donations, plus 3% of the prize pool, will be split between the Marie Curie charity, which offers support to terminally ill patients and a trust fund for Ulliott’s daughter Lucy. A special player party will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, with a rock band performing some of Ulliott’s favorite tunes.
