With the promise of sunshine just around the corner, this is a great time of year to put a Spring in your step and spread the feel-good feeling to a friend as well. 

 

MainEventTravel has teamed up with Aspers Casino Stratford to give you and a friend the chance to compete at the forthcoming Aspers Spring Festival. The winners of the competition will snag two incredible prize packages – a £1,000 Main Event Package for the friend they nominate and a £500 Warm Up Package for themselves.

 

The £600 buy-in Main Event, which comes with a £150,000 guaranteed prize pool, starts on May 4 with the final Day 1d turbo flight taking place on Saturday, May 6- which also hosts Day 2, with the final Day 3 on Sunday, May 7.

 

The £250 buy-in Warm Up event is a one-day tournament taking place on Friday, April 28.

 

This is a chance to give a friend or loved one a real poker treat – as well as win a nice prize package for being a great mate as well.

 

The Aspers Spring Festival is running from April 24 to May 7 at Aspers Casino Stratford. In addition to the Main Event and Warm Up tourney, the schedule also includes a £1,250 High Roller, £150 + £150 + £40 Mystery Bounty tournament, Progressive Bounty and 4/5/6 PLO event.

 

The MainEventTravel promotion is a chance to really put a smile on a friend’s face. The random draw will take place on April 21 awarding the £500 Warm-Up package to the person who posted the comment and the bumper £1,000 Main Event Package to the friend they nominated as deserving of this amazing prize!

The Warm Up package comprises your £250 buy-in into the Warm-Up tournament plus a MET Travel Credit worth £250. The £1,000 Main Event package comprises a £600 Main Event entry ticket and a £400 online MET Travel Credit. Only entries where the nominated mate has been tagged in the Facebook comment will be eligible.

 

Every entrant can nominate ONE friend; if you have been nominated yourself, you can still take part and nominate a friend. And an individual may be nominated more than once.

Players have until noon on Friday, April 21 to enter the contest. Those players progressing to the drawing will be announced at 3pm and the LIVE random draw will take place at 4pm the same day. Please note that tickets and travel credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. At the recent Aspers Winter Festival in February, the Main Event attracted a record 405 entries generating a massive £212,140 prize pool. London-based Hang Xu more than doubled his previous live tournament winnings in one fell swoop when he scooped a bumper first prize of £42,220.
