The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the largest, richest and most prestigious gaming event in the world, awarding millions of dollars in prize money and the prestigious gold bracelet, globally recognized as the sport’s top prize. Featuring a comprehensive slate of tournaments in every major poker variation, the WSOP is poker’s longest running tournament in the world, dating back to 1970. In 2016, the event attracted a record 107,833 entrants from all over the world. More than  15,000 players cashed during the  69-event, 51- day extravaganza. at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Overall,  $221,211,336 was awarded in prize money.

The 48th World Series of Poker (WSOP) – the longest running, richest and most prestigious tournament series – opens its doors on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The something-for-everyone schedule includes gold bracelet events, satellites, cash games and thrice daily deep stack tournaments running for 49 consecutive days, with the WSOP Main Event reaching its final nine players on Monday, July 17, 2017.
