MET teams up with Aspers Casino Stratford for Winter Fest Warm Up Package giveaway

MainEventTravel has teamed up with Aspers Casino Stratford to give one lucky player the chance to win a £500 package for the forthcoming Winter Fest event.

 

All players have to do to enter is simply go and LIKE MainEventTravel’s Facebook page, and then comment below the giveaway post pinned to the top of the Facebook page telling us the most creative way you are keeping warm this winter!

The winner will receive a £500 Winter Fest Warm Up Event Package that features the £250 buy-in and a £250 MainEventTravel.com hotel credit. The £20,000 guaranteed Warm Up Event is a one-day tournament starting at 1pm on Friday, 27th January with two re-entries. All players get a 25,000 starting stack with late reg open until the end of Level 8. The last Autumn Fest Warm Up guarantee  was smashed, and similar is expected again next week!

 

Promotion participants have until noon on Friday, 20th January to enter the Package giveaway contest. The MainEventTravel team will select the top seven (7) most liked comments along with a few (3) of their own favourites. Those ten (10) players will then be entered into a LIVE random draw taking place at 2pm the same day. One name will be selected in the drawing with the winner receiving the £500 value package. MainEventTravel will also be giving an extra £25 travel credit to the player with the most liked post!

 

The Aspers Winter Fest features a £120,000 guaranteed Main Event as well as more than 15 other tournaments. Aspers Winter Fest is taking place from January 24 to February 5 at the celebrated Stratford Casino and features a ton of satellites along with the £600 buy-in Main Event, £1,250 High Roller, Progressive Bounty, 4/5/6 PLO event and a £150 + £150 + £40 Mystery Bounty tournament.

 

At the last major Aspers festival – Autumn Fest 2022 – Steven Spivack took down the Main Event for a bumper prize of £35,318. There were 371 entries in all – which generated a guarantee-busting prize pool of nearly £200k. It was the largest field so far since Aspers launched its seasonal festivals in December 2021.

Aspers Customer Services Manager Janis Mozajevs said: “We’ve been running seasonal festivals since we re-opened after the pandemic and they’ve been going very well. Autumn Fest was a huge success and was the largest Main Event field we’ve had so far. It was also the first time we’d included a High Roller on the schedule. It certainly went down well and attracted quite a few high-profile names including EPT London and WPT Barcelona finalist Martins Adeniya who finished fifth and Unibet London High Roller champion Damian Bell who came seventh.”

 

Danh Tran won the High Roller for £18,870. The event easily beat its £50k guarantee attracting 59 entries to generate a prize pool of £65,810.
