After a record-breaking Winter Festival event, Aspers Casino Stratford in London has an even bigger schedule on offer at the upcoming Spring Poker Fest. The Main Event comes with a £150,000 guaranteed prize pool and the schedule also features 17 other tournaments.

 

The festival is taking place from April 24 to May 7 at the celebrated Stratford Casino and features a ton of satellites along with a £250 buy-in Warm Up tourney, £1,250 High Roller, Mystery Bounty and 4/5/6 PLO Knockout event.

 

The £600 buy-in Main Event features four start flights including a Day 1d turbo with 15-minute levels. Registration is open until the first hand is dealt on Day 2 with three re-entries allowed per flight. All players receive a 30,000 starting stack. On Day 2 and the final day, the blind levels will be 60 minutes.

 

At the last Aspers festival – the Winter Festival – which ended February 5, the Main Event attracted a record 405 entries generating a massive £212,140 prize pool.  Hang Xu, (pictured in winner's photo with friends) who lives in London, more than doubled his previous live tournament winnings in one fell swoop when he scooped a bumper first prize of £42,220.
